Today I hired a model and gathered a small group of friends in my studio for three hours of drawing. I haven't drawn from the figure for a long time. It was wonderful to play with smudgy charcoal and have absolutely no expectations or commercial pressures on the artwork I was making. Here are a couple of my drawings of Solveig.
