I'm featured in a new book!

I am one of the featured artists in a new book published this month about painters who use acrylic paint. It's called Acrylic Innovations by Nancy Reyner. Check out the link, especially pages 66 - 67. Oh, and that's my painting on the right side of the front cover.

50 X 50 Challenge Complete!

I've completed fifty individual paintings in less than fifty days! Each one measures 6" x 6". I'm very pleased with myself. They'll all be for sale at my Open Studio (8th - 10th October). Watch this space....

I've just finished this painting. It's already left my studio for it's new home where I know it will be much loved. I had a lot of fun doing it!

Old VW Van

This weekend I went to stay in a small cabin in the woods with my book group. I woke on Sunday morning to the smell of coffee and the sounds of the birds. I grabbed my sketchbook and a cup of coffee and sat in the sun to do this drawing. The old van seems to be a structural component of the wood storage system. The windows are so dirty you can't see in, and there was a dead, decapitated and dessicated coyote underneath. Fantastic!
